The Cottage feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but it is conveniently located only 3 miles to beautiful downtown Onancock where you can take a beautiful walk by the water, grab a delicious Cappuccino and also amazing food with many options right in town.
40 minutes from either Chincoteague to the North - with a gorgeous Beach and wild horses or Cape Charles to the South - with calm bayside Beaches, fun shops and delicious food. We highly suggest both options!

This newly renovated 2 bedroom home will be perfect for you and your family or friends. You will find hard wood floors, 2 comfortable queen beds with crisp white linens included, a walk in shower, full kitchen and a washer & dryer.

Long term renters are welcome with discounted rates.

Summary: This property is an updated, tastefully decorated, well maintained and squeaky clean home. The beds were comfortable and linens and pillows fresh and clean. There were many thoughtful amenities. It is a small cozy home, but we never felt crowded.

Summary: We stayed here from Friday to Monday. Our oldest child was at camp nearby. This was perfect for an early Saturday pick up and a few days to reconnect. A boat ramp/pier is close by so we brought our boat. The kids had fun on the water. There are restaurants nearby in town and also on route 13. The home is very cozy, well decorated, clean, comfortable. We wouldn't have changed a thing.

Summary: We stay at the Southside Cottage with another couple this past week and we all loved it! It is an adorable little cottage. At first we thought it was so small but in reality it was plenty big enough. We usually go to the Eastern Shore twice a year and we will definitely be returning to this property!
